1. Identifying the Issue

Recognize the problem (or problems) that you are facing. This may include harassment, withheld wages, or several forms of unfair treatment.

2. Discuss the Issue

Talk with those directly involved with the issue and try to reach a written agreement. You may involve an immediate superior or your company's HR department.

3. Know Your Rights

As part of Step 2 or for the next steps, use our tool to explore and understand what responsibilities you and your employer legally hold.

4. Further Action

If no agreement is reached in Step 2, or one of the parties violates the agreement, then you can use your new knowledge of the law and our lawyer matching tool to help you build your case and file a claim.

5. Legal Dispute
